The Ambercroft Training Centre is part of the Laborers-AGC Education and Training Fund (Laborers-AGC) which is a partnership between the Laborers' International Union of North America ( LIUNA) and The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Since 1969, this nonprofit labor-management trust fund has been developing programs that enhance the skills of Construction Craft Laborers (CCLs), while expanding the competitiveness of their employers.

A North American Training Network. Through its innovative training courses and educational services, the Fund takes a proactive approach to addressing the needs of the construction and environmental remediation industries. The 78 training funds affiliated with the Laborers-AGC, located at facilities and mobile training units throughout the United States and Canada, deliver these programs to Laborers across North America. Each year, over 86,000 Construction Craft Laborers participate in these courses.
