NOTE: These courses
are for certification, not training. That is, some
courses are open (WHMIS, Propane for Heaters, Fall Arrest, Confined Space,
Traffic Control) but some - including Swamping, Torch-Cutting and most
Equipment Certification are limited to individuals with experience. Even
with the open courses, there may be differences - review or renewal
courses are usually shorter than initial training, and others are only
recommended for individuals who are actually doing the work.
There may be minimum and / or maximum numbers for these programs.
Some courses are regularly posted at the union hall; all can be requested
but may require time to arrange.
